4 Star Review – Amending Plans

By Creative Deeds Reads

4 Stars
If you’re in the mood for a short sweet read, with a touch of humor and two characters who are total opposites, but totally perfect together, then Amending Plans will be right up your alley. 😉

Luc is just as described, a tad nerdy, totally at home in his city environment and a total klutz when it comes to anything outdoorsy. Rick was the total opposite, more comfortable outdoors and at home in the woods – the more rustic the accommodations, the better. There was no possible way that these to were even remotely compatible. Yet…
Luc has lusted over Rick for a while, which is why he almost freaks when his uncle suggests that he shadows him. He doesn’t want to give Rick a bad impression of him – but impressing him isn’t remotely possible. Except that’s exactly what he ends up doing, even though he thinks he’s totally screwed things up. It’s Luc’s personality and attitude that eventually win Rick over. Yet, they still have a few minor obstacles in their way to a HEA.

This was my first CM Corett read, but I’m pretty sure that I’m going to be checking out what else she has to offer. Happy reading!

Very nearly Perfect!

This is a short, sweet and rather romantic tale, that takes place over nothing more than a couple of days, but it worked because there was a budding connection of sorts between the guys and because of where the author set the tale.
It starts with a little seduction that doesn’t go to plan and ends in an entirely different planned future, which I loved…

…a lovely read.

Review: So I have always loved historical books and the way this author wrote this story was perfect!
… this was such a sweet story and the steamy scenes between William and Daniel were so damn hot!
The way this author wrote this time period and the characters (which I really loved both William and Daniel) was amazing!
So I will leave this review with…I really loved this story and would definitely recommend it!

I received this book free in exchange for an honest review from Inked Rainbow Reads.

Excerpt*** Blackmail, a mysterious young man washed on a beach, secrets and lies… Well, yes, Acceptable Lies does have all this, however be warned, it’s not a mystery as such. It’s very much a romance.
…a light, easy romantic read with likeable characters.

4 Heart Review – Acceptable Lies

Boy Meets Boy Reviews rated it 4 Hearts – March 6, 2016
Review by: Chelsea

A Gay For You Historical!!! That was unexpected and surprisingly

really…really….HOT!

William is an Earl (yes! Hot, right?) who finds Daniel washed up and unconscious on a beach. He notices Daniel’s beauty instantly and that attraction turns to lust, which turns to friendship as they start to get to know each other which obviously all leads up to a HEA.
The attraction turned lust is where this book is special. The build up and sexual tension between Daniel and William is insanely hot! Both GFYs and historicals are typically high on the tension, due to the tabooness of the relationship and well…virginity, but adding them both together… Damn!

Rainbow Book Reviews rated it 4 stars – Feb 18 2016

Review: Lena Grey

Excerpt ***… story is engaging and the characters well-developed and likeable. Of course, Thomas stole the show with his adorableness, compassion, intelligence, and bravery. Adding a child, especially one as involved as Thomas, made the story even more poignant. If you like a romantic, fairy-tale-like story, filled with action, intrigue, an adorable little boy, two handsome men in love, and a happy ending, this…. Thanks, CM, for an entertaining, relaxing read.

Review:

**What a wonderful book, with a very surprising twist! The author has written two fabulous characters, an intriguing, and surprising plot, and just enough heat to keep you reading.

If this is what CM Corett is usually like, then I’ll be back for more, I can guarantee that!

What a way to meet! James has finally decided to learn how to ski at age forty-two, but deigns the beginner slope and heads right out, and right into quite a tumble and fall. Who comes to his rescue, but the young, and gorgeous, Ash. Ash works for an outdoor gear company and has spent his life testing snowboards, skis, water skis, mountain climbing gear, and more. In James’ mind, this gorgeous, stunning, twenty-eight year old, with an exciting, adventurous life, couldn’t possibly be interested in James and his fuddy-duddy life. Of course, James also has twenty plus years of guilt and fear that he’s trying to put in the past, and being with Ash just keeps them in the forefront. Fortunately, there are people in James’ life who aren’t going to allow his preconceived notions to stop him from being with the man who is meant for him.
